Roster Guidelines

The Willetton Toy Library provides a fantastic service and facility for the parents of babies and young children in the Willetton and surrounding areas. It exists only because of the voluntary help and support of its members. Without people donating their time to help man the library at opening times, we simply would not be able to operate.

To keep our sessions running smoothly and efficiently, we need one committee member and two regular members on duty at each session and ask that each regular member commits to 4 roster duties per year (2 between January - June and 2 between July - December).

When you are on roster duty:

• The committee member on duty with you will contact you one or two days prior to remind you of your commitment
• You will need to arrive 15 minutes before the toy library opens to help set up, and remain up to 15 minutes following closing time to help clear up (that's a maximum time commitment of 1.5 hours)
• The committee member will explain how things operate and what needs to be done (for first-timers!)
• Whilst we understand that life isn't always predictable and unexpected situations can arise, cancelling your duty at the last minute significantly impacts the running of the library. We ask that wherever possible, you give as much notice as you can when you are unable to attend so that a replacement can be found *.
